Crisis Related Resources
It can be difficult to know what to do in a personal crisis and not everyone has the right support immediately available. If you or someone you care about is feeling overwhelmed by mental health, substance use, or other personal needs, it is good to know that there are a number of local and national helplines available. Many of the hotlines, but not all, are staffed by trained professionals. They can provide referrals, recommendations, and other useful information in times of need. The services they provide are toll-free, often accessible 24/7, and confidential. If you use a texting hotline, please note that messaging charges may apply.

Below is a list of national resources and hotlines for a variety of needs, including: mental health crisis, substance use, child abuse, domestic violence, and eating disorders. Please share them with others if needed and appropriate.
